Thomas Lilja

Thomas is a full-stack engineer with a love for backend, infrastructure, and all things serverless. He has spent the last 15 years working across fintech, SaaS, and media, helping both scale-ups and enterprises build modern, cloud-native systems with AWS, Node.js, and TypeScript. He has a passion for clean architecture, developer experience, and solving real-world problems with pragmatic solutions.

After years of building in the cloud, he’s now excited to join Elva in Malmö and use his expertise to help businesses take full advantage of serverless technologies.

2025 is a big year for Thomas—he’s not only starting a new chapter at Elva, but also getting married in August! Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying good food, heading out into nature, diving into a great book, or catching a hockey or tennis match.
